Serge Ravet is the CEO of The European Institute for E-Learning. The Institute has over 20 years experience in the field of information & Learning Technologies (ILT), both in Europe and in the USA.
He is the co-author of Technology Based Training (Kogan Page 1997)a book in which he presents his vision of learning technologies as enabling technologies. He is also co-author of a comparative study of learning platforms and leader of the e-Portfolio programme
Uwaje is a fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society (FNCS) and Institute of Analysts and Programmers (FIAP).He is the helmsman at the Connect Technologies Limited, a local software engine-room known for developing Banker Enterprise, Enterprise Knowledge intelligence groupware and Enterprise Stock Master applications.
Having graduated from the University of Hamburg and British Institute of Engineering Technology specializing on Informatics, he proceeded to the Control Data Institute in Frankfurt, Germany for post-graduate qualifications; Uwaje has had over three decades on the job experience as a computer scientist, spreading the IT gospel across continents of Africa, Europe and America.
As a principal consultant and chief executive at Connect Technologies, Uwaje spends most of his time conceptualizing science and technology based projects, as well as designing the implementation, management and technological backup.
He was two-term President, Information Technology (Industry) Association of Nigeria (ITAN) between 1999 and 2003; where he transformed ITAN into national and international acceptance in the scheme of IT professional groupings, especially with his input in the National IT Policy, which translated into the National IT Development Agency (NITDA) core agenda for implementation.
Fellow of the Institute of Certified Professional, and a member, Institute of Management Specialist, both based in the United Kingdom, and also a member, Computer Professional (Registration Council) of Nigeria (CPN) and former president, Rotary International District 9110, Nigeria.
Holds a first class honours degree in Mathematics of the University of Ibadan, Ibadan. Nigeria (1969), and higher degree including the doctorate (1972), in the same subject, as well as in Computer Science, from Cornell university Ithaca NY and Oregon State University, Corvallis OR, respectively. A recipient of several academic awards, including prizes government and University scholarships, and teaching assistantships, he has over 39 years cognate professional experience, spanning virtually all aspects of Information Technology (teaching, research, and practice), nationally and internationally.
For 10Years Dr. Obi was a University lecturer of Mathematics and Computer Science at the University of Benin-City, Nigeria, with areas of interest being functional analysis, systems analysis, software engineering, data communication, systems security (including cryptology), Information Technology project/resource and information management. He rose to the rank of senior lecturer in 1978.
A good team player, he was a manager of the Information Technology function for 21Years, the last three of these as Deputy General Manager and Head (Information Technology) at First Bank of Nigeria PLC. The First Nigeria to be so appointed, as Dr. Obi had responsibility for the popular technology transformation of the bank, which took place between 1997 and 2000. He voluntarily retired from the service of the Bank on July 1, 2000. Before joining the Bank he was the controller (Data Processing) at the IBRU Organization (1985- 1989), and is also the First Nigeria to be so appointed.
Dr. Obi is not only the author of several software applications and system security mechanisms, he is also a varacious researcher with over 109 works in reputable journals or presented at conferences, seminars, symposia and workshops. His research interest in the last ten (10) Years is distributed cryptography with applications to e-voting system and cyber-security. One of his works is a design in 2003 of an e-voting system that is well suited to the Nigeria environment. He is highly regarded by his professional colleagues.
He is presently into Information Technology Research and Development, project management, software engineering, application implementation and consulting. He is currently the Chairman, of the Research and Development Committee of the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria).
Ms. Kalmus is a Senior Consultant for LiveText. She joined the team in 2002 to help launch LiveText in higher education. Her responsibilities include product development, marketing, account management, and strategic planning. Katie works primarily with schools on the East Coast, California, and Alabama, including Teachers College at Columbia, the Penn State system schools, the Cal State system schools, UAB, University of Alabama, and UMCP.
In addition to supporting her higher education clients, Katie also works with expanding the use of LiveText’s tools to new markets. She works with WASC and ACCJC as they have implemented LiveText for program review purposes, and also with the first high school adoption. Katie is currently pursuing her MBA at Columbia’s Executive program, and graduated from Yale University in 1998 with a degree in History. She lives in New York City.
Clement Dzidonu is Professor of Computer Science and Head of Department at Valley View University, Accra. He is also Professor of Information Technology, and Professor of Business Administration at Touro University International, California, USA. He is a member of the Council of the Informatics Development Institute (Dublin, Ireland) and a Senior Research Fellow of the International Institute of Information Technology (INIIT).
During the past eighteen years, he has been involved in a number of information and communication technology (ICT) related projects and initiatives in Europe and Africa for a number of Governments companies, NGOs, and international agencies.
He is currently a Consultant to the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA), and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) advising a number of African Governments on their National Information and Communications Technology Policies and Plans. He is a member of the International Development Research Center (IDRC) Commission of Experts for the West and Central Africa Region.
is the founder and national president of the Nigeria IT professionals in the Americas (NITPA), a U.S- based organization of diverse information Technology practitioners in the Diaspora. He is also a co-founder, president and CEO of AfriHUB LLC, a United States company focusing on corporate intervention in digital divides at African universities and government institutions.
A doctoral graduate of the George Washington University School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Prof. Manny Aniebonam has for many years been associated with several research-1 universities in the United States Including the computer Information Systems Programs at The George Washington University and Howard University, both in Washington DC, USA.
With professional background in information and communications technology (ICT), and prior to pursuing a career in the academia, Prof Manny Aniebonam had over twenty years experience working in Fortune 100 companies as an information systems developer, Database Administrator, IT consultant and project manager, with exceptionally expert knowledge of information systems development, deployment and support.
As the president/CEO of AfriHUB LLC based in Fairfax VA, Prof Aniebonam oversees an ICT park operation in Nigeria located at three university campuses, with over 100 staff force, making great contributions in the areas of digital access, capacity building, infrastructure development and local content development.
Past organization affiliations include the World Bank, Mobile Oil Corporation, and the U.S Armed Force (Department of Defense) DNA identification Laboratory. His involvement with the IT industry developed him into a dynamic contributor in building of necessary bridges towards integral application of scholastic research findings to the development of Database applications and Information Management systems.
To this end, Dr. Aniebonam’s research interests include performance issue in distributed database over wide area Networks, application of information system methods to higher education, and ICT policy intervention towards global digital divide.
Using his vast knowledge in ICT, professor Aniebonam has contributed to African development knowledge through professional and scientific conference presentation and workshops aimed at training academic workforce in Nigeria, Ghana, and South Africa.
A long-time member of IEEE computer Society, he was a recipient of software’s’ Inc Service Award for professional Excellence, a Mobile Oil Corporation’s Award for Technical Excellence, and a 2001 DoD Eagle Award for development of application software used by the U.S Armed Forces DNA Identification Laboratory (AFDIL) in response to September 11 2001 terrorist incident.
Dr. Aniebonam’s work in these and other areas of interest are published in Information Technology refereed journals and proceedings.
He is the President of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) and the Director of the center for information Technology and systems (CITS) of the University of LagosAs an academia, his major area of specialization is Software Engineering with emphasis on compiling techniques and systems software.
He is an active member of Nigeria Computer Society (NCS), and the Computer Professional Registration Council of Nigeria (CPB). He is also a Fellow of NCS. He had served NCS in various capacities including: chairman Education Committee (1997 – 1999); chairman Conferences Committee (1999 – 2003); Chairman Publication Committee (2003 – July 2007).
Besides his enviable service in Nigeria, Professor Uwadia has a visiting Fellow to Universities and Institutions in the United States of America, United Kingdom, Italy and Australia.
Professor Uwadia is a detribalized Nigerian and holds liberal views about life. He is happily married with three children. His other areas of interest include International Relations and sports.
Prof Ariwa is a Senior Lecuturer in Strategic Information Systems at the London Metropolitan University. He is also a Chartered member of the British Computer Society and Fellow of the Institute of Information Technology Training (FIITT). He has served in academics, business and community forum groups for University and Diversity Directorate; and holds the following Visiting Professorship and Editorial positions: VISITING PROFESSOR in Computer Sciences/Management Sciences at the Karakurum International University, Pakistan and European School of Economics, London Campus in Management Information Systems/Global Communications. Ezendu is a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of International Journal of Applied Management and Assistant Editor of International Journal of Applied Human Resource Management.

Ezendu’s University research potentials using information systems and financial services expertise complement the practical orientation in the Green Computing and Facilities Management applications.

Oliver Osuagwu is Professor of Computer Science at the Imo State University, Owerri, Professor of Computer Information Systems at the American Heritage University, San Bernardino California and her Director of Operations in Nigeria, Adjust Professor of Computer Science at the Department of Computer Science, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Visiting Processor of Computer Science at the Benue State University, Makurdi and part-time Professor of Computer Science at the University of Port-Harcourt, River State.
Professor Osuagwu is the Vice-President, Vice-Chairman, Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN), a Federal Government Regulatory Agency responsible for the control of IT profession in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.. A distinguished Professional Fellow of both the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS).

He attended the famous Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria for his IJMB {1980}, B.Sc {Hons} Chemistry [1984], Post Graduate Diploma in Education [1991], Post Graduate in Public Administration {1992], M.Sc Chemistry [1994] and Ph.D in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2003.
Having completed his National Service in 1985, he gained appointment as an Assistant Lecturer with Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi that same year. He later transferred his service to Yobe State Water Board in 1993 to contribute his quota. With the creation of Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu in 1994, Shettima was the first Academic Staff employed as Senior Lecturer where he rose to the rank of Chief Lecturer and Deputy Rector of the Institution, having acted as a Rector for over a year. He had served Yobe State in many capacities and has many publications, both at National and International levels to his credit. He has received several National and International Awards.
Shettima is the incumbent Provost, Federal College of Education {Technical}, Potiskum, Yobe State; Chairman, Committee of Provosts of Colleges of Education in Nigeria; National President of National Association of Allied Scientists and Technologiest; The Vice President and Fellow of Chemical Society of Nigeria; Fellow and Council Member of Institute of Chattered Chemists of Nigeria [ICCON]; Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Executives of Nigeria, Certified Institute of Management; Member, European Institute for E – Learning, West African Society of Pharmacology; and the Nigerian Institute of Management to mention but a few.
Dr. Ntibi mni. He attended the University of Ibadan and holds a B.Ed in Physics and Mathematics. He also holds an M.Sc in Solid State Electronics obtained from the University of Port Harcourt. Dr. Ntibi mni also has a Ph.D from the University of Science and Technology, Port Harcourt. He was recently nominated to take part in the SEC 29 at NIPSS, Kuru where he was admitted into the prestigious membership of the National Institute.
